Hi everyone, and welcome to my little corner of the internet dedicated to the wonderful world of clothes steaming!  I'm Elena, and I am passionate about sharing the incredible benefits of this gentle yet effective garment care method. My journey with steaming began over 25 years ago with a disaster!  It started with a gorgeous Burberry sweater– one I’d managed to snag a fantastic deal on.  It was an oversized​ silk cotton knit with fine, shiny silk threads woven into a beautiful pattern with large pockets and  buttons.  It's hard to describe, but I loved that sweater.   After wearing it several times, I took it to what I thought was a top-notch dry cleaner, and it returned ruined.   The delicate, shiny silk threads were burnt by a heat press, leaving the entire sweater a dull, lifeless color.  That sweater would of cost a small fortune to replace, and the dry cleaners denied responsibility.   My little burnt sweater made me look for a gentler way to care for my clothes, and I knew nobody would care for my clothes like I would.  

My quest to find a dry cleaning alternative led me to discovered steaming, and it indeed was a revelation. Since then, I've been a dedicated steamer, using it on everything from delicate silks to my husband's suit and everyday cotton and linens.
