Care and Maintenance 

To keep your Jiffy Esteam in top shape follow these care and maintenance tips:

• Use Tap Water according to Manufacturer.  I use half tap and half distilled because I have well water and it is hard.
• Test on an Old Cloth: When first using the device, or after a long period of non-use, test it on an old cloth, as there may be sediment left from the manufacturing process or transportation.
• Empty the Water Tank After Each Use: This helps prevent mineral buildup and keeps the steamer clean.
• Clean the Soleplate After Each Use: Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth to remove any residue.

How To Descale and Jiffy Clothes Steamer

I highly recommend using the Jiffy Cleaner Liquid cleaner   

• Pour 4 ounces of water in your ESTEAM hand steamer
• Plug in unit and bring to full steam
• Unplug the unit and allow to cool for 5 minutes
• Pour out all water
• Pour in 5 ounces ( 1/2) bottle of Jiffy Steamer Liquid cleaner
• DO NOT STEAM THE UNIT WITH THE LIQUID CLEANER
• Leave the liquid cleaner in the unit for 3 hours
• Scrub with stiff plastic brush to remove excess sediment as necessary
• Flush the unit 4 times with fresh water
• Happy Steaming
